Fun with our Friends

Yesterday Nate, Becky and the kids made the trip from Vernal to come see us and play! We loved having them down and we packed as much fun in to the limited time we had as was humanly possible. We did some motorcycle riding, some horse back riding, and some playing in the dirt. Thanks again for coming guys :).

Yeah for Grandpa

This past weekend Chris's dad was able to come down and visit with us. He and Chris went up on the mountains for some of the weekend, but Aden and I got to spend some time with him too! Aden especially loved the part where he got to ride with Grandpa on his motorcycle....or as Aden calls them "sickles". We loved having Grandpa around and look forward to this weekend when he comes back for more fun!

Aden had tons of fun playing around with the helmets....he also had his daddy playing...with a helmet a size or two too small :).

Pishing with Bearpa (Fishing With Grandpa)

Yesterday Aden got to go fishing with his grandpa, great grandpa and cousin Justin all day long. He had such a blast and keeps talking about pishin with bearpa. Aden was apparently the best fisherman of them all. He caught 10 fish on his little kiddy spider man pole! (he had lots of help from grandpa of course). But he not only caught the most, but he caught the biggest ones too! Special thanks to Bearpa for taking Aden and taking the great pictures!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there! Especially my own Dad and the Dad to my children. With out the love and support of these men I would be nowhere at all.

Adelia Rose!

So our trip to Logan was a whirl wind one but we packed a lot of lovin' into it. (sorry SLC and Logan friends I will have to let you know when we take a longer trip so we can meet up) This trip was mostly about meeting our new little family member Adelia! She is a DOLL and such a good baby. Any how, here are some pictures of our fun trip and the two silly kids that can't help but be cheese balls.

A New Family Member!

So I have great news to post but I know many of the people who follow my blog also follow my sister-in-law and brother's blog. I would never rob them of the chance to be the first to show their beautiful new addition, but I can't help but post that she is here and she is every bit the beauty and princess we all expected. I have lots of cell phone pictures but I have yet to see her in person...I will do that this weekend :). But for all those who were waiting to hear, baby and mommy are both healthy and well.

Playground Fun

This past week on Thursday while Luke and Mary went to our friend Blake's wedding, Tianna got to come hang out with us. We took her and Aden to the playground and well the pictures speak for themselves!

Cheap Thrills

If you have ever found yourself entertained for hours with something as simple as string...you are not alone. My camera lens got jammed and so my nice camera was out of commission for a while...anyway I tell you that because my new lens arrived and was wrapped ever so lovingly in....BUBBLE WRAP! Now I don't know if it is instinctive or what, but my son (who has never played with bubble wrap before) immediately started popping the giant plastic bubbles. At one point I tried to join him and was told "No Mommy, my turn!" well okay. Apparently Aden's turn ended up being over an hour and every last pop able piece....oh well I'm a grown up right? :)

Baby or.....Bear?

So memorial day weekend when we had company Aden stayed in our room. Well one of the mornings Aden had joined us in bed and was cuddling with my tummy giving baby hugs and kisses when all the sudden my stomach growled super loud! Aden sat straight up with wide eyes and astonishment written all over his face. I asked him "what's wrong, did my tummy say something, what did you hear?" With wide eyes and still aghast he looked at me and said "A BEAR!"
