Chris's sister Heather Rae sent me a couple of really cute pictures from her camera and I thought I would share them! Playing after a Picnic at Shaefer Park just outside of Centralia.
Majestic Mount Rainier in the background! What a beautiful picture!

This one is my favorite! It may have something to do with the fact I love water falls and both the boys in the picture very much:), or maybe it is the smile on that little ones face, you can't help but giggle! This is at Narada Falls in Mount Rainier National Park. I will add more pics latter but I loved these so much I had to share. Thanks Heather Rae!

Chris and Aden Made it HOME!!

So as many of you know, Chris and Aden went to Washington for a week. Chris had to wait for the fair and Rodeo to be over before he could take his vacation. Unfortunately he took it the week fall semester started. Well since I work for the College of Eastern Utah, his vacation came and I was stuck here. I didn't want Chris to be stuck here just because I was so, as an early birthday present, I flew him and Aden to Washington to visit Chris's dad (and other friends and family). My last post is pictures of him and Aden hanging out in the pool. I have more pictures that I will post in a slide show when Chris can sit down with me and explain to me what they all are. But the good news is they are home safe and sound! And of course the other good news is that they had fun. The only real side effect of this that I noticed is that Aden now calls me "Monica" instead of mommy. He used to call me that every once in a great while but now it is every time he is talking to me.....I will have to figure out how to break that habit and quick! I am so glad to have my family back home and I will post, or have Chris post, more about the trip soon. Just thought I would let everyone know they made it home!

The other day Aden and Chris got to go swiming at Chris's friend, Aaron's house. He was tired but was still loving the water. Aaron took some great pictures. Enjoy:)

Aden in the Fair!

So there was a picture in the paper of Aden in the baby Olympics. Well it isn't a great picture because it was on the crease. I also have issues with it because they got his name wrong, but I though I would share it anyhow:). (I cleaned it up a bit with photo shop) But I emailed the paper to see if they would send me a copy of the picture. If they get back to me I will post what ever they send me.

New Animations!!!

If you are a fan of Bingham Blog Backgrounds, I have good news! I have added some new animations. If you want one, the instructions will tell you exaclty how it's done! If you have a question or comment or a special request, I love doing custom orders on backgrounds and I will even take them on animations too!

Promotion!

So if you have read my blog for a while, or have talked to me recently, you know that I put in for a promotion forever ago. Well about a week and a half ago I interviewed. Well I found out on Thursday last week I GOT IT! This week has been a blur of trieing to get things ready for fall semester, which starts on Monday. I have many projects that will keep me buisy for a long time. Besides being more work and more hours it means more money and some benefits. Such as 4O1K and 3 credits tuition payed per semester. I will finally be able to finish my degree and do it for FREE! But if I am a little harder to find or I don't keep up quite as well on the blog, that is why:).

Fishing at Potter's Pond

So we have had yet another jam packed weekend. Friday we went up to Orem and spent some time with Chris's Grandparents and Aunt and Uncle and Cousins. We loved getting to see them agian and of course we loved showing off Aden and all his skills:). Then on Saturday we decided we wanted to go fishing! So we packed a lunch and all our gear and picked up "Gagah" (my mom) and went back to Potter's Pond. For those who don't remember that is where we had the Lake family reunion. Chris didn't get to go at all and I thought it would be nice for him to get a chance to go there especially since the fishing was really good. Well when we got there it was raining but Chris was determined and started getting his pole ready to fish. Before long the sun came out and we all got out and fished. Well we were catching fish like CRAZY! We were haveing a hard time keeping a pole in the water. We bought Aden his own little pole and then fished with Chris's other two poles. Well we would get one pole out in the water and start baiting another one and before we could get it baited and cast the other one would be in with a fish on the end. Well if we were looking for a relaxing fishing trip this was not it. Aden was happy to fish for a little while but before too long Grandma had to take him on walks to keep him happy. We fished to our hearts content, then cleaned our fish and headed home.

Picture of the Paintings

So I had a request for pictures.....the gunstocks I painted are back on the guns and back at my parents house so if I remember I will try to get pictures next time I am there. But here are the paintings of flowers with the ribons they earned:).

My Fair Entry

So I entered some of my Art in the County Fair. I entered 2 of the gun stocks I painted for my dad and my three flower paintings that hang in my livingroom. I actually did pretty well. I got blue ribbons on both gun stocks and one blue and two red on the flowers. While I didn't get a judges choice or anything they told me I could enter them in the State Fair. I don't think I will but it was fun for the local fair:).

Survival of Summer....who new you could fit so much in one weekend.

So starting Friday we had a crazy hecktic weekend. Friday was Kids day at the County Fair and Aden compeated in the "Baby Olympics" and won in both his events! I wasn't able to be there so Chris was able to get an hour from work and Gahga helped with him...she took pictures too. After the Olimpics we went to Price and had lunch with Mary, Tianna, and Bonnie, (Tianna's other Grandma). And then went swimming in their fun pool!
Chris was stuck at work all day and pretty late in the evening setting up the stage for the Saturday night concert.

Saturday we went to Logan to be at my cousin Josh's wedding. The kids did great on the long drive and were really good at the wedding. Tianna loved KrisAnn's wedding dress and kept saying "Princess and Princes" because of the beautiful wedding dress and the guys all in thier tuxes. Aden was ready to "Go!"....as soon as the service was over Aden said "ok go now!"

We then went back to Luke and Mary's house and visited till the Reception. We then went to dinner with my Aunt Tammy and her husband and kids and my Grandma and Grandpa Peacock. It was great fun! It was Grandpa's Birthday and a great opportunity to get together to celebrate.
Chris was again stuck at work all day at the County Fair...Luckily he was able to participate in some of the events....he was apperently hypnotized and was pretty funny on stage...unlukily he broke his work phone in the process. He was also stuck at work til almost midnight because of the concert...but luckily it was a good concert.

Sunday we went to the Zoo in the morning and Aden and Tianna had so much fun together! On the way home we made it to Cabella's and Aden got to see his favorite animal....FISH! He was so cute...there were tons of kiss marks on the glass where Aden was showing the fishes love!
Chris FINALLY had a day off!!! He did some cleaning on the house but mostly did some relaxing and gaming with friends.

We had so much fun but it was a crazy, crazy, weekend! Enjoy the pictures:)!
