The Peep house!

So because after every holiday there is GREAT clearance my grandma picked up this cute bunny hutch for super cheap (Easter version of gingerbread house). And since Aden doesn't really care that the holiday is past we went ahead and put it together for the fun of it! Thanks to Laura and Courtney, it wouldn't have gotten done without you.....my total lack of ambition these days is pretty bad:).

At first all Aden wanted to do is eat all the candy but after he saw what we were doing with it he got super excited about helping put the candy on the house! And he had to get in on

some frosting action too! He was so funny because the first thing he said when he saw the house was "knock knock?" That's right He wanted to knock on the little bunny doors :D! He was so cute about it too. He not only had to knock on the door but he had to try the door knob. It didn't work real well but he had so much fun trying!

Once we got the house put together we decided it needed an occupant. So the Peep came home to this candy extravaganza!

Easter ......Finally

So this week has been a little crazy for work and life so I am sorry it has taken me so long to post Easter.

This year we went camping on the desert, and I tell you what, this little boy took full advantage of the fact we let him get as dirty as he wanted!

When the sun came out, so did the Lizards....Aden isn't really a big fan of anything that moves on it's own.

It took some warming up to it, but he did get better....

....oh I guess it wasn't so bad.

Till they tried making him hold it!

By the end of the weekend he gave one a kiss even :D.

The Easter Bunny dropped off a basket of goodies for Aden, and he LOVED it! He tore into it and had toys and candy every where! The only part Aden didn't like, was when I told him the Easter bunny brought it he looked at me with angry look on his face and said "Bunny?"...to which I assume means he wanted to see the bunny....or he is missing the bunny in the Easter Basket....I thought he would have more fun with more boyish toys this year...oh well.

The Easter bunny hid all his Spider man eggs and also some that were shapped and painted like different sea creatures. He loved the ones painted like NEMO!...But really he enjoyed them all. He was too cute!

If Lizards and eggs were not enough Aden and Chris also got to ride horses! Aden loves the horses and would want to constatnly be on one or petting one the whole time they were there.

He especially likes riding with Auntie Courtney!

Egg Coloring Extravaganza

So we have never colored eggs with Aden before. He was too little both Easters before so we got pleanty of pictures of the great event :D!

How to get Awesome Spider Man Eggs:

Step 1 get all the dies ready and in front of you.

Step 2 Kiss the eggs and reassure them they will be beautiful when they come out.

Step 3 Drop egg in and close eyes to prevent splash from getting in....Aden wasn't very soft with his eggs...only one cracked though :D

Step 4 Remove beautiful eggs and let dry.






Step 5 Apply Stickers and Enjoy.

Shaun the Sheep

It is a miracle! We have found a cartoon that spans the ages. I always knew Wallis and Gromit had something special but from the same creators comes a series of 5 minute long shorts staring Shaun the Sheep. And we all LOVE it!!! Aden asks first thing in the morning "Sheep?" I wait anxiously for a new episode to come on and I even record them on our DVR just in case we miss one and of course Chris as to watch the new ones when he gets home from work :D! So I googled Shaun the Sheep and found these fun animations and there might even be future blog layouts featuring the love able fleeced friend!

Fishes Fishes Everywhere!

So This weekend we made the treck to Logan to see Mary in Joseph and the tecnicolor dream coat. Well because sometimes I can be dence I left the camera in it's case pretty well the whole trip. The only thing I got pictures of, is our trip to the aquarium on the way up to Logan. We had so much fun with Luke, Mary and Tianna plus Courtney, Dale and my mom were there too! It was so much fun. We went to the play, where Mary along with the rest of the cast did fantastic! Aden and Tianna had sooooo much fun I had a hard time not laughing at them the whole time. Aden would go around calling "Tianna, Tianna, Tianna" to which she would follow behind saying "What Aden, What Aden, What Aden" ...too funny :D. We did some shopping and visited my Uncle Mike and Aunt Tony. All in all a great fun packed weekend.

SO now back to the Aquarium. We met up with one of my best friends in the whole world, Lacie, at the Living Planet Aquarium. We had lunch and then went and saw all the exhibits. Aden again loved every minute of it!!! He is such a fish lover I can't even begin to wonder what kind of job he will have when he grows up. So here are the pics!

Aden and the Puppies!

Aden loves playing with the puppies and here he is keeping them warm. Now every time I put his jacket on and zip it up he points to the inside and says "puppies seepin'" Translation Puppies Sleeping. Which I take as to mean he would like me to fetch the puppies and put them in his coat so they can sleep there. :) We are excited for the weather to get warmer so Aden can play outside more, something he really enjoys. Along with puppies Aden is growing up and getting smarter. Last time I posted an update he was able to count to 5 now he can get to 10...and occasionally he puts the numbers in the right order :D. He is also saying a lot more sentences and actually making sense. We are currently working on shapes and colors. Aden can pick out a star shape and thoroughly enjoys saying "yellow" although I am not sure yet if he could identify it by color just yet. He has expert form on the two-year-old tantrum and practices frequently. I can only hope that the part where he thrusts himself head first on to the ground, resulting in rug burn on the forehead, is something he will learn to avoid.

So Chris borrowed a fourwheeler from a friend and decided he couldn't live without doing doughnuts in the lot next door. Here is his dust devil animation!

I am shrinking!

So I debated long and hard before I decided to add this post to my blog. It is a very personal situation and a very real fight for me. For several years now I have been dealing with a condition called PCOS. If you want more info on PCOS leave me a comment with your email and I will get back to you. Long story short PCOS has caused several health concerns and also caused Aden to be thus far an only child. One of the major issues I deal with from PCOS is extreme weight gain. Well if you will notice from my blog I avoid pictures at all cost and it is only for a family picture that I deal with it because there are two other people to detract the attention to. But I started seeing a new Doctor and was finally officially diagnosed with the condition. I have been taking some new medication that actually battles the underlying cause of PCOS which is Insulin Resistance (again I have more information on request). In the last three months I have lost almost 30lbs total. I still have a long ways to go but it feels amazing to be making progress.

Valentine's and President's day weekend....I know, I know, that was a week ago. But I wanted to add a couple of pictures. We had a full, very fun weekend. Luke, Mary and Tianna came down from Logan and we stayed up way late playing games and talking. These pictures are courtesy of Courtney because I used her camera to take them and she just emailed them to me. Well while staying up late Chris had taken some pain medication for his shoulder...which was hurting him very very badly. These meds made it impossible for him to stay awake...believe me he tried really hard. Aden decided he would climb on dad. Really I think he was super tiered but couldn't settle down. But he ended up on daddy's head, making good quality sleep hard to find;).

Okay so I got tagged and I followed the rules the best I could. I was suposed to pick the 6th photo out of the 6th folder, but it didn't work out so good so here is the closest thing to it. This is Aden at the fair after he took a trip down the huge inflatable slide with water on it. I think it tramatized the poor boy!

So it has been a full year since I started blogging! Technically it was on February 6th that I first started blogging but I figured this is close enough!
